Sundance Books has been synonymous with the Geneseo experience for over 35 years. From our modest beginnings upstairs in the building next to Buzzo Music to our current location at School Street ,adjacent and convenient to the Upper Quad. We have provided students, faculty and community members alike with a unique and personal brand of customer service. Our goal is to provide local and knowledgeable service to the SUNY Geneseo Campus. For the last 10 years we have successfully been the sole provider of textbooks to Geneseo. Many factors over the last 10 years contributed to a change in perception regarding the role of Sundance Books in the eyes of the college community. As the sole brick and mortar store selling textbooks in town many students came to view Sundance as a monopoly and with the advent of online sales and a college booklist students are equipped to find other resources to shop for books. With some regret we at Sundance declined to bid on a new contract with the Campus Auxillary Services. We felt the increased financial and regulatory demands would seriously erode  our ability to provide customers the best value for their dollar. As a result we are proud to return to our roots as the students alternative to the on campus bookstore. We will be making every effort possible to insure that our books are the lowest price texts available in Geneseo and will be posting our pricelist as soon as we can. We are still offering Pre Order services which gives students the convenience of all their books for all their classes ready for pick up before classes begin. We now offer shipping to any location and the ability to choose from your booklist just selected titles rather than your entire schedule.
